Hello,
It is going to be 2 short months before I leave for Italy on a 3 month tourist Visa. One of the questions I still have is in regard to purchasing property, and both living and renting in Italy. Do folks have suggestions on any real estate people in the Tuscany region, who would be willing to chat with me and answer questions? At this point I need someone who speaks English. Given the economy (US) I would not be able to purchase anything this year, but would like to gather info while I am visiting.

Thank you so much,

I know an American woman (married to an Italian) who works in real estate around the Lucca area. I believe she has both rentals and property for sale. If you are interested in that area e-mail me and I'll send you her contacts details.

Hi Vicky,

Thanks for the note. I will be in the Fivizzano area in Sept. and I think it would be great if I could meet up with her and "pick her brain", so to speak. Maybe her and I can "do lunch". I would be happy to receive her contact info.

Thank you,

Her name is Catia. Her e-mail is info at tuscanybeautiful dot com. I sent her an e-mail indicating you would probably contact her.
Good luck!
Vicky

Hello Lori. My son/wife are anticipating move to Bologna (attend University), can you tell me how you made out with the "rental"? Thanks, LJP
