I was just wondering if anyone could advise me on how much I can expect to pay per month for a 1 bedroom flat in Milan? I've been browsing around on the net and most of the sites I've come across don't actually list their prices clearly.

I'm not looking for anything special... just a room or flat that sleeps one (preferably horizontally not vertically!)

In an average residential area you will pay around 800 euros per month for 1 bedroom. A studio in the Central Station area goes for aroun 650, whilst a one bedroom in the centre can cost upwards of 1100 euros per month. Slightly outside the city - say within commuting distance you could pay as little as 500, but you then have to face the traffic and / or trains!!
