I am selling my 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe because I am moving to the city and don't need a car anymore. The car is located in the Siena area.
The car is gray with leather interior, very spacious inside, seats 5 very comfortably. Automatic transmission, AC, CD player, 4 wheel drive, power steering and windows. Only one owner before me, who maintained it very well at the Hyundai Super Auto in Monteriggioni. It's a great car for someone in the country because it is high off the ground and powerful.
The car was matriculated in May 2004 and it has 125,000 Km and a Diesel engine. It has never had any problems since I have had it and is in fantastic condition. I just did the revisione about 6 weeks ago for 115,000 Km which was a complete checkup, had all filters replaced, brakes checked, etc. The car has its complete history of all of its revisioni and tagliandi.
The price is €13,000.

I just wanted to say that this is a FABULOUS car. I have one, same year, manual trans and honestly I have nev er been happier with a car for comfort, performance, etc. I live in the Chianti hills and take a lot of white roads and it is perfect but also just got back from vacation and it handles amazingly on the A1 etc. We bought it new and I always say, if I have to ever get a new car I would get the same car (although I prefer the 04 model over the 08 model as it is a little bigger.

My neighbors get by without a car. They take the bus locally and connect with the train for longer trips. For their annual settimana bianca they go with their sons' families to the Dolomiti.
I agree, I would have a tough time as a "spoiled American" adapting to being carless. Then again, if oil hits $200 a barrel I might have no choice but to change my wasteful ways.
I definitely won't need this car in Florence, it's an SUV, perfect for out here in the country. Maybe later on I will get a smaller one, but for the moment I will do without and just rent if I go away on weekends. I just found out about this "Car Sharing" program (like Zipcar in the US, basically) which sounds interesting, but I have to look into it more.
