Anyone know what Locali means? I keep seeing it in real estate listings. 3 locali, 4 locali, >5 locali.

Rooms.

A locale is a room large enough to have at elast a window and no smaller than, I think, 12 square meters, with the exception of the bathroom. Essentially, any room of the house that fits these rules can be considered a locale, regardless of its use (bedroom, livingroom etc.). So a 2 locali can be composed of one bedroom, one living room and one kitchenette (not listed as a locale) plus bathroom, or of a bedroom with a large kitchen that can be used also as a dining room (plsu bathroom). A four locali can be one livingroom + 3 bedrooms, or a large kitchen + living room + 2 bedrooms, etc.
