Hi all, we have family in Italy and we (husband and triplet girls aged 9) have spent quite a fair a bit of our time there (near Lago di Garda). We have noticed recently the effect of excessive thumb-sucking by way of the increase in the need for tooth-braces. One of the reasons for this is that the kids continued to suck their thumbs for an excessive duration and therefore pulled the teeth forward/overbite even damaging the palate. We have found a website that can help. www.thumbguard.eu
Hope you find it useful. Best regards, Richard & Karen and family.
