I am 17, i will be 18 in January, and in 2010, i would like to stay in Italy for an extended period of time, and decide if i like it enough to move there. I've read this site, and i am confused. So much information, i need this all in simpleman terms, and also, a step by step instruction guide would be helpful. Can anyone assist me?

Ciao Kailyn,
I think if you search around this forum and other sites you'll find tons of information that may answer the questions you have.

But questions I have for you are a few simple ones. First of all, I'm assuming you will have graduated by then, is that true? If that's the case, do you plan on studying in Italy or working? Do you have EU citizenship or are you able to obtain it? Where in Italy do you want to go? How's your Italian? Will you have to take language courses once you get there?

Once you answer these and some other questions that I'm sure will come up, you'll have a clearer idea of what you have to do to get there.

Buona fortuna and welcome to expats!
