The new bridge linking Piazzale Roma with Stazione Ferroviaría Santa Lucia is due to open 18 Settembre. There will be no inauguration ceremony- Alleanza Nazionale threatened to stage a protest.

Here's an art critic's view:

But Sgarbi had some words of praise for Calatrava's design.
