I cannot access my Paypal account. It seems they have forgotten my mother's maiden name and my city of birth. They keep jumping into Italian with long complicated directions on how to reestablish myself, and it is very unhelpful. This stops me from paying my subscriptions to this site as well as others since I need to update my credit card info. Very frustrating!!!

Joanna, have you tried opening a separate US PayPal account? With that you can pay in Euro or dollars, both in US and abroad. I had set up a separate Italian PayPal account at one time, but deleted it and started using the US-based one for everything.

We tried to set up an English language account, but as soon as we say the cardholders address is Spain, it flips into Spanish! We have tried accessing this account from the UK site, but it automatically goes to Spanish! Is there a way around this or do you have to have a UK/US address to do so?

I would open a separate account in UK with a UK address. You can still make payments in Euro to Spain, etc.

I had a U.S. Paypal account but it seems they just switched me over to Italy after a year or so of my being here. I'll give it a go again and see what happens. Thanks, Bill.
