Does anyone who is maybe an expat from London know if there is a bank that is in London and Italia?

I am most likely going to be living in London for 6 months (from the US) to study before I head to Italia and thought it would easier to find a bank that possibly serves both locations. Not sure if this exists....

I am really not sure, but I have noticed that Deusche Bank (spelling?) is all over the place in many different countries. I saw one in Krakow, there is one in Rome, so maybe research that option. Also, Citybank is everywhere.

Woolwich Bank is in both UK and Italy. They even offer mortgages in Italy.

There is a Barclays Internation bank which is linked with the UK version of Barclays but this bank lets you get paid into the account in any currency. They have Barclays international branches in Italy.
I spoke to them once on the phone for a general enquiry and they were very helpful in explaining the accounts on offer.

Also if you open a Natiowide account they do not charge ATM fees outside of the UK so that is always good.
