My landlady has finally presented me with a bill for our utility use (she pays the utilities directly). Our apartment has its own meters so she is billing us for the amounts used solely by us. I have no idea what gas and electric cost here and so I don't know if her charges are reasonable or not. She is charging €0.40 per Kwh and €0.80 per cubic meter for gas. Does anyone have any opinions on this. We're in Rome if that makes any difference.

Our most recent electricity bill calculates at approximately €0.23 per kWh, including fixed charges, usage, taxes and IVA. That's a resident's rate on a 4.5kW supply.

Our most recent gas bill calculates at approximately €0.66 per cubic metre, again including all fixed charges, usage, taxes and IVA. Again, a resident's rate.
