Is there a flat tax in italy, like lets say Canada?

Unless you mean the VAT or the Canadian GST/PST no flat tax in either country. Last I heard the current Italian goverment was trying to move to only three tax brackets but it would still have deductions and various other rules. So not what is normally considered a flat tax.
