http://www.bonprix.it seems to have a lot of the kinds of things you'd buy online in the US. I'm wondering if anyone has ever bought from them and if so, are the sizes true?
Prices seem very good, and the variety includes things I have that are almost worn out.

I have bought some things from them but only for my kids so cannot help with adult sizing. I like their stuff and the price is right.

I also like http://www.dmail.it for their silly stuff and garden stuff.

Thanks, Cristina. That site is a kick. They have hundreds of things I never dreamed of owning, but may be tempted. A snack jar with a light for midnight bites? Ah, but that is bean salad for me. Guess not.
Anyway, now I am looking for dancewear-- specifically unitards in stretch cotton. Can't find anything but nekkid belly flashy shiny stuff anywhere. Don't they know old people exercise and dance too?

FWIW, I get a lot of my clothing from Landsend.com. They have a UK-based store, but it costs more and doesn't carry quite the same line, and the US store has more interesting stuff on clearance sale. The exchange rate balances out the ~30% customs I end up paying, and the shipping - I recently received 11 items (most of them NOT on clearance) for a total of about 240 euros.

Once upon a time Land's End offered nice things. Times have changed. I'm wondering about Amazon.com in Italy. Are the books expensive?

There is no Amazon in Italy but I order all the time from Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk without a problem. SHipping can be a lot but it is worth it IMO since buying a paperbook book in English at a store here can cost 3 times what it would cost from Amazon.

IBS is the Italian alternative to Amazon. They don't offer a really great service, but I still have used them a couple of times. They carry books in italian and English, DVDs and CDs.
