AmyAmy Turista	Posted I have an Italian friend who would like to invest in something in Texas and asked me what the max amount you can wire transfer to the us without it being reported, I can't find a clear answer on the net, does anyone know if there is a limit on transferring money into an account there?

Bill 2 Volo Libero Cittadino	Posted Hide Post Wire transfers over 12.500 euro will be reported by the bank to the govt. If you are wiring an individual money (like with Western Union) the limit is 2000 euro. Why does your friend not want the amount reported?

AmyAmy Turista	Posted Hide Post Thanks for the info Bill, I have no idea why he doesn't want it reported he is starting a soccer school over there it's not like he's a homeland threat. I would imagine its the italian paranoia of being taxed or something!
