I completed all the courses for my post-bachelor's degree in the States for my italian teaching certification but my goal has always been to teach italian culture/literature at the university level in the US. i was supposed to start my masters at rutgers university in NJ this fall but decided to spend some time in italy first and i'm now an english teaching assistant at a high school outside milan, in legnano. anyway, what universities do you think i should look into for a masters in italian literature / cultural studies? i want to start doing some research.. Smiler

thank you!

Ciao Daniela,
i am not sure I've understood right: do you want to study in Italy or in the US?

Sorry, I just forgot of the title. My bad!

Anyway use this search tool to look up for the Universities in Rome and Milan who have a Corso di Laurea Specialistica in Lingua e Cultura italiana (classe 40/S). This is our Master in Italian. Anyway, are you sure you can attend a Master here in Italy? American bachelors are usually not recognized as an European bachelor. Look on this forum for keywords suchs as "getting your degree recognized".

Hello Daniela,
I'm new to the forum and have just seen this post. I was wondering if you've made any strides in your search for a master's degree in Italy. I have similar interests to you, and I was wondering if you'd be willing to share what you know.
Grazie,
Marisa
