Hey Everybody
I'm in desperate need of help! I want to do my masters in Verona next year but am having problems getting any info off anybody. Does anybody know if my four year B.A will be enough to get into a masters course, I know in Italy you generally need a five year one. If anybody knows anything and can give me a hand I'd be really really greatful
Grazie in Anticipo

You need to contact the university directly - not all degrees are accepted by all departments even in the same university! So check with them.

Also, beware that "masters" here in Italy are not exactly university degrees, you probbly want to enter a "specializzazione" or a "dottorato". "Masters" here are just semiofficial university-like courses whose actual level dipends on who organizes them and that are not necessarly held by univeristies. This does not mean that all "masters" in itlay are crappy, but you must shop around carefully before picking one.

Any luck with the Master's course preparation? I am also interested in pursuing graduate work in Italy. Are you leaning toward Verona because of location or the school itself?

Any information you could pass on would be greatly appreciated. I hope your plans are working out for next year!

Sincerely,
Sara
