The tutor I have working with my son twice a week is an elementary English teacher by profession. She has worked with my son twice so far and he has lasted an hour each time, which I consider a success. However, teaching a foreign-born child is not the same as teaching an Italian-born child with learning difficulties, which is more or less the approach she is taking. I would like to get some materials for Italian as a Second Language for first graders. Do they exist? (I'm aware of materials that you can use just to expose your child to Italian while still living "at home", but I'm looking for something more intensive, specifically geared to the foreign child living in Italy. Game format or fun approach a plus!)
