Hi,
I have Italian citizenship and hope to move to Italy with my family sometime soon. My wife is an American and has a Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts from an American University. Does anyone know if my wife (if she learns Italian) would be able to use such a degree to work in Italy? She'd really like to teach art, but if that wouldn't be possible, she'd like to know if there is anything else that her diploma would allow her to do.
Thanks for your help.

Here is the information I had found when researching my own transfer of credentials.

I hope this helps you.

I only know the general rule is that an American bachelors degree is not equivalent to a 5 year Laurea in Italy without an accompanying masters degree. Although, validity within the trade/to find a job versus official consular recognition of the degree might be a totally different matter.
