Just wanted to let you all know that Lidl has a sale going on with american food including bagels, chicken strips, marshmallows, etc.
Sale started yesterday, and should last a week I think.

Diana, just as you posted this, I was at Lidl discovering the American food sale. They also have BBQ sauce, pancake mix, brownie chocolate chip cookies, caramel corn, various chips, muffin mixes, onion rings, ranch & thousand island dressing, microwave popcorn.
I asked the clerk and she said the sale is on as long as the products last. So first come first serve.

Thisis the website where you can find the one closest to you and if you go to offerte and then American something a page opens with the stuff that is available. Don't know in other areas but here (Porto Recanati Lidl) they run out of stuff when they have these promotions...I have to head up the coast this evening and plan at stopping at a couple.

And Pennymarket is running a Latino promotion - mainly mexican foods, salsa, tortillas etc.

Same here, the American products tend to sell out quickly. By this time tomorrow, I can almost guarantee that the Lidl near me will be almost if not sold out of everything.

Console yourself with their Prosecco at €2/bottle.

I'm so glad I found this post in time! Just came back from Lidl with 2 bags full of American goodies. I think I might have been the only person buying because everything was well stocked. Yay for bagels!

No peanut butter...both creamy AND crunchy were featured in the ad....but last year this apparently sold out quickly too. No dried cranberries...I don't know if our store even had any to begin with. We did find PECANS!!!!! Wow, what a surprise that was! And I bought a bag of marshmallows so that we can roast them after our next BBQ!

I guess those were the only things that really interested me. the onion rings we bought last year were gross...mostly breading. They have hamburger and hot dog buns all the time, and the only type of bagels they had were oat.

I wonder if the red beans and rice mix was any good?
