I am in need of someone who can helop with webdesign to work on the templates for our Article Management system. I just am swamped with work these days and want to get it running but am not able to.

Also, anyone willing to write an article on how to apply for a PdiS from the Post? Basically it could be just a rephrasing of the info on immigration portal.

Thanks in advance for anyone willing to help.

Cristina - While I'm sure there isn't any lack of willingness - I fear that a lack of 'suitable or acceptable' knowledge is always going to ensure that any help offered will not be up to the level of expertise you are seeking here.

Many of your members are probably 'non techies' like me - and those who know what you are talking about are probably snowed under with work too (alas Frowner ...)

Thanks Carole. I know that the webdesign part of it needs someone with techie abilities but the writing of an article doesn't so I was hoping that someone who has been through it since they changed to the post office or someone who has really read up on it could write something for the main site.

I still have hope.

Esatto. I fall into the former category. Know nothing about web design. Which is frustrating beyond belief 'cause I'm eagerly awaiting the article management system so I can scribble something.

I've already submitted one article and I guess that's in the queue waiting for the Article 'thingy' to be set up. I had thought about doing another, but from the list you put out sometime ago there was very little I could expand on - certainly not an up to date account of having a baby in Italy anyway! smileypulldownsunglasses

But if you have other areas just throw out a list to see (again) if you get any takers) you never know - someone might take the bait.

Personally -at the moment I could probably provide you with a riveting account on how to get the outside walls of your house 'colour washed'.

Now there's a prospective article that should bore most people to death hungover in 30 seconds flat!!!

Carole, which article? Your Thieves on the Autostrada was uploaded onto the site on January 27th and an announcement was made in this subforum. If you sent another, I never got it.

Please accept my apologies worthy Cristina....
I had told friends about this article and we have been 'hunting' for it for some time. Just couldn't find it anywhere (but you know me Roll Eyes). I assumed - a very dangerous pastime - that with your level of workload it would be uploaded at some point, so I didn't worry. Then when I saw your request I put two and two together and (obviously) made five.
Grovel - grovel flo_1 sor_1_

No grovelling needed Carole. I made a boo boo and did not add it to the main site index or any of the other section navigations so the only way to find it was through the link I gave when I announced it. I will do that today so it will be easy to find.

I have emailed the PdiS article to you.

I also have a blog, on road cycling in Italy, you may want to add to the list of blogs.
