Well we are winding down to the final days and we have quite a few people who said that they wanted to attend in the Headcount thread but have not sent me a request for contract and payment information. Please send me an email ASAP (the cut off day is May 1) cristina@expatsinitaly.com

ALSO we have some people who have requested info but have not responded or have paid but not filled in and sent back the contract. Without the contract, reservations cannot be confirmed and payments will be returned.

Sorry folks but we have to be strict about this otherwise there will be too much confusion.

And just so everyone knows, walk-ins will not be accepted as we have the food calculated per confirmed reservation. ANd no picnics either.

So if you want to attend, please make sure you send me an email or send back the contract and payment in the next 9 days.

I've had a lot going on and might have missed a step. I know I made payment. Perhaps you could post a list of confirmed attendees just so we can all be sure we're on it?

Hi Deirdré,

I will be sending out emails today and tomorrow to all who still need steps completed. While we are here though, yes you paid but I need the reservation sheet still.

And as I mentioned, I was SURE I had returned the info form...any way you could post it here, or at least tell us what info is needed so that we could email it to you?

Barb, I never got it so could you just resend the res. sheet? Otherwise could you just reply again to the email I sent to you? If you no longer have it, send me an email and I will resend.

Is this only happening to me? When ever anybody posts to this thread it shows up being the last topic in every forum.

Okay, just to make everybody feel safe and secure - and since we all know that Cristina's had some trouble with her e-mail in the past - here's a suggestion: When you send the request/confirmation e-mail to her, also send a copy to me, annika@expatsinitaly.com . I will keep track and then "compare notes" with Cristina.

This way no info will be lost and nobody will have to wonder if their e-mail is lost in cyberspace or what.

Is it going to stay this way for 9 days? Until June 3? It makes it difficult to follow other threads.

If you look in the right hand column you can see what new topics are being discussed. I relly think this should stay on top (altho it's not on top of the "Bureaucratic Situations" forum...now it is!!!!).

Annika, as soon as Cristina sends me a new form I'll send a copy of the completed one to you too. Thanks.

Sorry folks but as the time is getting short I need to have this notice up. I will leave it like this for anothere day and then I will feature it only in a few sections, not the entire board. To follow threads the easiest way is to click on Find then New Since Last visit. You can also see the newest responses in the list on the right column.

As the magnitude of this event is a very new field for Expats - things may not always be to everyones liking. That is understandable Frowner. This site is so informative that to partially lose (?) it for a few days may be upsetting.... but hey, the Forum Wide Notice Board for this GTG is only up for a few days - The work on information for everyone is still continuing headbang - so there shouldn't be a problem. Should there?

Perhaps by the next one flo_1 it will all be so organised and everyone will be so blasè about it all, you won't even notice chillpill

Well I changed it so only a few forums on the board have this thread. I am going to post a pop up notice though so anyone coming in to read will get the message once as a reminder.

Hi Di & Andrea,

I'm going to post a map and driving directions but I need a few more days. Long weekend here.

This is in our neighborhood and like pigeons, we know how to get there. I'll sort this out next week, send it to Cristina and she'll forward it on to the Monster GTG group.

Best regards,

Rita

I will be sending out confirmation replies later today but just so you know, Diana and Barb you are both confirmed.

Judith, the post is slow these days so I am not surprised it has not arrived yet.
