This was just about a year ago and here we are again approaching Thanksgiving 2006 (how apt) and Expats in Italy is now approaching the 2000 membership mark (only 21 to go....).

All this just goes to prove what a well run, informative and friendly site 'Expats' is.

But as I asked last year.... WHO will be number 2000? Will it be a 'Brit' or a 'Yank' or an 'Aussie' - being truly a 'global' site I suppose that's anyone's guess!

But whoever is #2000 - you'll be joining a wonderful community here!

Does anybody know how many active members we have- say, people that have posted within the past year? The "Whatever happened to..." post got me wondering.

Unfortunately, I can only see who has logged in during the past year (since Jan 06 we have 1300+ members who have logged in).
