Our board is a moderated board. This means that

• if one of the moderators or myself find that a thread has gone too far off topic we try to steer it back
• If we note a spelling error that could change the possibilities for search we will fix it
• move topics to the correct forum
• if someone has quoted a long post or accidentally erased the opening or closing bracket in the code we will fix it
• if we feel that someone has crossed the line we will either remove the post or edit it

The last one seems to be a confusing one so I wanted to clarify. When everyone signs up for this board they agree to our Terms of Service and in these terms there are a lot of basic guidelines for forum behavior. If I or another moderator feels that one of our rules has been infringed, we take action.

We all get into little scrapes with others, that is life. But if something is said on the board that you take offence to, PLEASE do not respond. Instead click the alert button and we will handle it. Once a person responds, the thread gets lost in the confusion and we just can't allow that to happen.

If anyone has a problem with the way we moderate this board then please send an alert or send an email (link to my email is on every page of the forum and the main site). Please do not post your complaints on the fourm or I will go in and delete them (it does say on our Terms of Service We reserve the right to delete or edit any message that we feel is inappropriate.)

I hate to be the cop but I can just not allow things to derail.
