Our lives as Dora and I know them would not be anything like what they are today without what you have created. In addition, this beautiful little girl would not exist. Bless you Auntie Cristina!!!
Oh Jim and Dora she is just beautiful. What a proud auntie I am! For those who don't know, when we had the Monster GTG back in 2006 (was it really 2 years ago?) Jim and Dora let me announce their engagement to the group (100+ attendees). They met here and the rest as they say is history.
I want to thank everyone for their encouragement to keep this site going. It means a lot.
I would love to keep the site but I do need help with content and web design (yes I know I ask this on a yearly basis so must sound like a broken record). If anyone knows PHP, CSS, and the program http://interactivetools.com/products/articlemanager/ drop me a line and maybe we can work out a deal.
Thanks loads guys and gals.
Cristina

I know I'm not around often, but I do send lots of people here and have a link on the blog. I get loads of emails asking for info on moving to Italy and I direct them all to you guys! I don't really know how it works but could you maybe share the running of the site with someone? Or divide up the responsibilities?
I have not been around lately, due to traveling, looking for houses and eventually buying one (almost)!
I was sorry to see this post and to hear that you are struggling with the site upkeep. It is a wonderful place, with much more information than any other I have seen - you should be proud of what you have achieved.
I offered help once before but we kept missing each other and it never happened. You were having a bad time with a serious back problem then I think which made life difficult for you.
Anyway, my offer of help still stands. We can do anything and everything related to websites - this is what we do all day, every day for a living.
So, email me (mail@vindleka.com) or phone if you still have my number and lets see what we can do.
I know I've been a bad bad naughty quiet moderator due to loooots of translation work and a visiting aunt, but pleeeeeeeeeeeeease keep the site up :-) This site was my refuge during my most agonizing, emotional time two years ago when I was trying to decide what to do with my life.
I wish I could help with the maintenance of it but I'm not so good at that. So for now I'll just be as good a moderator as I can be, even from down here in South America!

Normally, I spend most of my time using the Citizenship forum. I am a very new member, so today I came to the Board Info forum to search for the way to access Private Messaging.
I do not know if you are still looking for an answer to your question. But, I can tell my thoughts... I found this forum last Mon, July 14. By Weds I had upgraded my membership because it was such a great service to me and I wanted to do a small something to show my appreciation.
I hope this expresses what I am trying to say. That I absolutely believe this is a worthwhile site and I cannot imagine what I would have done without it. I thank you very much for the forums as well as all the stories and quality information you have provided.
Best of luck to you in your decision and all your endeavors, Denise

Brava!
Now if we could just persuade everyone to do the same!
I'm also a new member - and this is my first entry - but SO not my last!!
I'm slowly working my way through the posts and finding it invaluable - we're moving to Italia in 3 years and I'm learning so much from the forum - so please keep it going. I have no blog at the moment but when I do I'll ensure it's linked.
