No your eyes are not going crazy. I changed the layout a bit and will probably be tweaking it for a while. If you look on the left column you will see our calendar. Currently I have only added ICI due but I will start adding things (holidays, events, etc.) soon. If you have something to add, send me an email and I will give you permissions. Unfortunately, this calendar has one drawback, if someone wants to post to the calendar I have to manually give the permission.

I also put up a quick Expat Map. Hopefully I will figure out the database problems I am having with the better map but for now this free program works well enough so click on it and add your location and we may be able to get some good GTGs going!

Below the new additions you will find board stats and the last 15 new topics. Hope this makes browsing easier.

One thing I just noticed on the map, could you all put in the name of your town in the comment section. Unfortunately this map doesn't have the regions so it is hard to tell by the dots where people are.

And can you figure out how to delete the one I messed up and leave the OK one? I couldn't do it and I hope you can.

Unfortunately you can't move it. I'll delete the current one and you can re do it though.

Also, is it possible for the map to take Lat/Lon coordinates? Mapping sites can show these for almost anywhere in Europe.

I'm in the comune of Massa Marittima, my dot should have been closer to Joanna's as I'm not right on the coast.

Hey all, don't worry if you are not exactly in the right place. As I wrote above this is only the temporary map until I can do a bit of database work for a better map. This one is an add in I found on line but the program I want to use needs a bit of coding and since this is just me doing this in my free time (I think I have been saying this a lot lately ), some things have to wait. As posted in the jobs available thread, I am looking for a vounteer to do a bit of php work.

Oh and for different dots for those not here yet, maybe I can work that into the new program but for the time being, those who are planning on coming over and know where they will be can just put "almost" before the name of the town in the comments.
