Sorry to blanket the whole board with this but I am having some serious internet probs. Can't get or send emails from my expatsinitaly account so I went to get to my control panel for the main site and it will not connect. I am on a slow dial up and we are having storms nearby so it could be that but could any of you please try to go to the main site and open a new page or two to see if it works? Easiest way is to click on Main Site Index at the top of the forum and then pick a page you have never been to before (in case you have the pages in your temp files).

Thanks for any and all help. Posty here and as soon as I get an answer I will un blanket the board with this request.

Cristina,
It doesn't appear to be down. I opened several pages I had never been to before.

Thanks a lot all. Man what a scare! I guess it is the weather.

Of course today is the Palio in Siena (we are not racing so no biggy for me) and if it rains, they will postpone it to tomorrow which means my husband who should be off tomorrow because he has not had a day off in a month will have to go in to prepare the same dinner again. What a drag!

Maybe it's just a dial up issue? I am on dial up too and I can't even access the Main Site Index! I tried to get in at least 10 times and I keep getting an error. hungover

In the last 2 days there have been periods of time when only the Forum section "could not be found" by my browser. I have no idea why it went down and then came up--several times. I used both Internet Explorer and FireFox--neither could pull up the Forum. Does this happen to everyone? Is it a server problem?
