Hey folks. I took off for a couple of days but left the board in the very helpful and wonderful hands of Alice, Joanna and Julie and as we can all see everything was perfect.

I notice that there are quite a few places I need to respond but give me a day or so to get back to normal.

Bentornata! Didn't do anything, Cristina, but check the occassional post and reassure myself that Alice was on the case.

Hope all went well.

Thanks Julie., Nope no special plans Frowner. I had plans, we were supposed to go up to visit my folks this week so I could spend my birthday with them for the first time in 10 years. My husband planned his vacation around this. Well last week at the last minute it seems, his boss dropped the bomb that they had large catering event for tomorrow the 15th. For over 300 people so he had to be at work today. You cannot imagine the B&Ming I did! I mean come on, people don't book 10 days ahead for a group of 300 so I am sure she has known about this for a while. You would think that she could let the kitchen know when these things are being planned.

At least because of this fiasco I am getting off my butt and trying to find a place to open up a paninoteca for us (so he can quit)! It will be near the uni for foreigners I hope. I want to do wraps and regular panini. And also sell foreign goods. I have been thinking about this for a while but because of the kids being small I couldn't really do anything. Now that they are in school I can start making plans.

Great plans for the paninoteca. That sounds exciting! Keep us posted.

And, happy birthday again! Mine is on St. Patrick's Day so I can always find a party if I need to! Wink
