Well this has been a horrible time for the recipe section of the main site. First the database was having problems, then the database crashed and all recipes were lost, then it got hit by a spam bug (while I was in the US a couple of weeks ago, in the first 4 days I had over 1000 email messages saying there were new recipes but they were all viagra etc. ads.

So anyway, I installed a new script that seems much better and more secure. Registration is not the same as here so you will need to register there as well but you should use your same username so that everyone knows who the recipe is from. http://www.expatsinitaly.com/expatrecipes

I have added two recipes so far (one an amazing bell pepper dish that I made last night) so come on folks, add some more! I will too.

By the way, what would be even better though than adding Italian recipes, would be to add home foods and other internatinal dishes that you have adjusted to work with Italian ingredients.

Have fun!

I am invalid. Is it me, or something still missing?

Judith, as I wrote above, you have to register first as the database for the program is not the same as the database for the forum.

The problem is it will not take the user name I use here. It requires no spaces. So there I am JudithinUmbria.

Would it be possible to change the cuisines? At least add an alternative called "other" or something? My recipes tend to not fit in... Frowner

Yep, I was just trying to get it up but if you notice something is needed, write a comment (in capital letters at the bottom of the directions and I will add other categories etc. You can also post here.
