I am a newly registered user who posted last week (I think) in both the introductions section and the Money section. I went back today to see if there were any additional repsonses to my post in Money, and it was gone, so I went to check on my intro post, and that seems to have disappeared as well.
Were my posts deleted for some reason?

Is THIS the introduction post you're refering to?

If you go to a post you have made, and click on your name, you can choose an option to see your recent posts and find things that way

I might be the culprit. A few days ago there was a thread and I though I removed a duplicate reply to the original poster's question and I think that the whole thread and not the post disappeared. I always thought that only the original poster could delete a complete thread. If it was me I am truly sorry and owe you a drink or something.

I sure as heck didn't know it and really don't want the power for things just to disappear into the never never.

No worries! (Though I'll never turn down a free drink.) I just wanted to make sure I hadn't made some stupid newbie mistake or rule violation that got my post deleted.
