I'm going to come prepared for anything too Judith. frosty I reckon it's best to play it safe, so I'm putting a few extra things in the boot (trunk). They won't need feeding if I don't use 'em, and I'd sooner be safe than sorry!

But 'why, oh why this weekend'?????? Mad

Just how cold is it expected to be in Chianti tomorrow? right now in Umbria we're having very cool, almost cold nights (around 50ºF) and cool days with lots of clouds and lots of wind. Yesterday it was 17ºC....definitely sweatshirt and jeans weather!

Thinking of buying a house in Umbria? Buy ours! Read about it on our blog: Art and Barb Live in Italy

I hear you! Last night a rain storm blew through and this morning the mountain outback is covered with snow. Anyone remember Andy Hampsten on Passo Gavia in the '88 Giro?

It's a beautiful September morn. Clouds, sun, wind, changes every hour.

Looks like we'll all be dressing in layers and throwing blankets in the backseat.

No rain predicted, so that's good news.

Hi to Yael:
I'm a new member (and my wife and I are new to the Pescara area )and I'd like to know if there is an English-speaking expat club in Pescara and how to join it. I'd appreciate any info regarding this.
Thanks.

Chris I think you want to put this post in Everything Else or Daily Life or Who's Who.
Best of luck in Pescara. I love the Adriatic.
