I'm going to be moving to Rome in August and will probably be seeking something out of the sort as I will have a 5 month old by then. Let me know if you discover anything. Maybe we could start something ourselves!

I know that there is an English language preschool in Rome as someone I knew sent her 3 year old there. NOt sure what it's called though. Maybe it's affiliated with Santa Susanna - why don't you give them a call?

You mean August next year? I hope i'd find something by then (in which case i'll let you know) but i'd really like to start one up. I don't suppose you'd know your whereabouts yet.

Hi Mauro and all,

I would be interested in participating. My daughter is 13 months and we are located in the Garbatella zone (near Stazione Ostiense). Let me know. My email is micherine@yahoo.com.

We sent our wee girl to 'Tot's World'. It's a nursery close to and between FAO and Piramide, and we would recommend it if that's the kind of thing you are looking for. There was talk of it moving but I think that it was opening up another branch rather than shutting down the original. I can find out more if there is interest.

That sounds very interesting. Bit out of reach for us maybe but thanks a lot anyway.

hi Michelle, in the end we've not done anything but we'd still like to start a group if we can't find one. Thing is, we're located in castelli (south of rome) and getting into town it's a bit of a problem

Hi Moms and Dads of Rome!
I know that there is an English-speaking playgroup in the (Anglican?Lutheran?) church on Via Babuino. Sorry, I can't remember the church but it is the only one there; I believe they meet on Thursdays and I have heard from others that they are enjoyable. I am working and can't make it to daytime meetings but if anyone is interested in weekends or late afternoon play groups, let me know!
