Hi to all mums out here in Italy!

Just moved to the Todi region from the UK.

I have been looking for a mother & baby group but with no luck! All I have found is a local 'Ludatecha' that is essentially a nursery.

Does anyone know of any mother and baby groups here?

Would anyone be interested in meeting up or starting up coffee mornings or the like? I have an eight month old baby girl.

Look forward to hearing from anybody.

Sally

Hi there!
Sorry we arent closer, but if you are ever in the area of La Spezia, I'd love to catch up for a cuppa.

I have a 17 month old girl and have found a great website...

Hi Lynda

Thank you for the reply and the link.

Do you & your little one go to the play group at Firenze?

Very nice area!

We very nearly brought a property near La Spezia, in a hamlet called Sesta Godana but too many family members owned different rooms which made it difficult to buy.

We are renting here at the moment.

How long have you been living out here?

Thank you for the offer of coffees will keep this in mind. The same extends if you are this way.

Kind regards
Sally

Hi Lyndamh

I'm looking to move to Lerici/La Spezia with my partner and 14 month old daughter due to work requirements. Our biggest concern is what is there to do out there for a 14 month old and mother? At home she has quite a busy schedule for a toddler going to baby music groups, baby gym and nursery twice a week.

We're quite out going and intend to learn Italian and integrate into the local community but are concerned that initially mum and baby might feel a little isolated out there with not speaking the language. Is there a good expat community in the La Spezia area?

Hello Sally,
My daughter is 3 1/2 and loves little ones. We are in Collesecco until the end of August. If you know of any play groups or a Ludoteco let me know. If you are interested in meeting, that too would be great.
