Anyone know anything about a 1000euro payment for birth of baby?

A friend recently told me that I should look into a possible 1000 euro payment from the Italian government for the birth of my new baby??

Anyone else heard anything about this?

They dont do this anymore. In some cities they might give a little bit of money, but you will have to look into it.

Actually I think it is still done- the easiest way to find out is to go to your local town hall and ask.

went to local town hall, they told us that there is money we can claim for the birth and also because we have 3 kids. The amount depends on hb salary and can be anything up to 2000euros. I will keep yous informed.
