Where can I buy playground rides for two year old twins in Italy. Have found a couple of suppliers but they are really expensive compared to the UK.

Try Obbi in Calenzano at the Centro Commerciale Coop. They have a garden center and I've seen some small swing sets, single swings to attach to a tree, plastic sand boxes. The truth is, I didn't look at the prices, I was looking for garden furniture.

Another place you might try is the Leroy/Merlin store at the shopping center I Gigli. They have an outdoor roof area where they sell BBQ grills, plants, garden stuff. They also sell swimming pools, limited playground equipment but it's a little early in the season for these things.

We had a swing set built by helping uncles in the family because we couldn't find anything sturdy enough.

Good luck.

Best,
Rita

Thanks for all your suggestions. Will look into all your ideas and might even try IKEA in Florence.
