I am 8.5 months pregnant and have had some people tell me that I shouldn't be wearing a seatbelt...I know better and have been wearing it as I always do, making sure the lower belt goes under my belly.

Anyway, I came across this clip on CNN where they actually did a study showing that it saves, not hurts the unborn baby, contrary to some Sicilian folk.

Here's some evidence in case any other pregnant expats encounter anyone who tries to convince you it's bad for your baby!
