I have now found cat grass seed here--and am ready to grow a mini-lawn indoors for my precious Quigley...but would like to use a non-soil growing medium. Am I likely to find something like vermiculite here? And if so, would I find it at a gardening store just as I would in the USA? Where else, or what else should I look for? What word(s) should I use when asking for such a thing?

Your best bet would be one of the larger nurseries with a well-stocked supplies store.
