As many of you know by now, I'm going to Italy in July. I'm going to stay in Amalfi for two weeks, but before that I'm visiting Cristina in Siena.

I have very fond memories of the Monster GTG two years ago, so... Is anyone up for a GTG on Friday July 18th? We could do a lunch picnic or dinner, depending on what you feel like and how many we are. I'm not intending for this to be a Monster GTG 2, but it would sure be nice to meet you guys! circle

Sorry we'll only be around until July 10th. Have a good time and I'm sure you will have better (warmer) weather than you did at the first Monster GTG!

Annika, I'd love to meet you, too, and I haven't seen Cristina in ages. She has my number, so maybe we can meet up when you're at her place. I'm just an hour south and might be able to come up.

Annika, our summer's totally up in the air what with family stuff. If I can get down, I will. Don't care where or what form it takes, would love to see you and Cristina, and meet everyone else, too. I'll keep checking in on this thread, and let you know.

Uhm... yeah. The eternal question. help Unless I can persuade my husband that Italy is a great place to live (haven't succeeded so far), the current plan is to eventually buy a place in Italy where we can go on (long,I hope!) vacations and rent it when we're not there. We'll see. We've just bought a house here and property in Italy isn't exactly cheap. EEK!

In case the final choice will be a lunch, Taverna del Capitano near the Duomo could be a good place to have it.
