I know, this is such a boring question and targeted at expats living in Turin, BUT, where can I purchase a good quality television in Torino at reasonable prices? Darty is not reasonable, nor does it have the smaller size TV set I was hoping for. This will be my son's present for his 10th birthday, and I am looking for one of the flat(ish) screen TVs, not those that you mount on the wall, and not a big screen TV, for space and budget reasons. I also do not want to order a TV from the internet or buy it used...I think you are just asking for trouble buying used electronics... Thanks in advance to the more experienced Turin residents!

Do you have Expert or Euronics chains in Turin? These seem to be the most reasonable here. Or try the bigger Hypermarkets - they should have them.

P.S. 10th birthdays!! What to do?! I think it was a Nintendo DS when my son was 10, but that's 3 years ago now. Believe me it just gets more expensive from here on in!!

Well... I am kind of cheating nbh We do not have a TV at all, so we need one, and since I have become completely intolerant of the TV since my old age (kidding I am 30, but recently I have been feeling old) I decided the TV can officially belong to my son. Killing two birds with one stone, i.e.: passing off the TV purchase as a great 10th birthday gift- otherwise my son would be getting a much more moderate gift!
There is a Euronics store in Turin, just looked it up, and still haven't found an Expert. Thanks for the suggestion, will check it out tomorrow!
