One thing I know from buying a wii in the states: there's this big movement towards getting a "mod chip", which allows the wii to not only read "copied" wii games, but (when done right) allows the wii (say, one bought in the US) to read European games.
Now, this is the background story. But my question is: does anyone know of someone here in Rome that can do this? My son has a wii console and would love to play the games of his Italian friends, but currently cannot.
Any help in this regard would be much appreciated.
-J< this doesn't answer your question but we are bringing our Wii to Italy from the states and I was wondering where you got the cables to plug it into an Italian TV?
@ the vagabonds: I simply got a scart converter from media world. You can also find them on ebay.it it gives you the regular component (video, left audio and right audio) and an s-video connection. Also the one that I picked up has a switch to make it usable as either an input converter or an output converter. Ran around €17 at media world.
