Hi, just wondering if a public holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday do you get either the Friday or the Monday off? I will be working in Milan and wondering how the working hours etc are. Thanks for your help

No, you don't - but if it falls on a Thursday or Tuesday you might be able to get the Friday or Monday off as a "ponte" (bridge). Wink

Thank you. I don't really know anything about Italy or the language. Is it a difficult place to get used to? I heard it is expensive. For money I will be getting about 50k Euro and rent assistance of 1200 Euro. Should this be comfortable to get a 2 bedroom place in Milan?

Is that per month? Your rent assistance is higher than my salary monkyyy Am off to boil my head.

To answer your question - yes, it should be enough!

Eeker

That is an ENORMOUS salary package in Italy. You have nothing to worry about.

well that is good but I am sure I will find a way to spend it. Don't know any Italian or anything about the country really. How long does it take to get a grasp on the language. Smiler
